Farzad Golpayegani is a US-based musician, visual artist, and creative director. He is the son of Behzad Golpayegani (Painter & Graphic Designer, 1938-1985).
A Graphic Design graduate working in both traditional and digital media, Farzad’s visual art leans heavily into Surrealism and Expressionism.
Musically, his work fuses Progressive Metal with Eastern influences. His style is characterized by technical electric and acoustic guitar work, Middle Eastern tunings, and atmospheric textures. Farzad is an independent artist who produces his own records, performing on electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, and violin, occasionally collaborating with guest musicians. He performs live as a solo act and with the “Farzad G Band.”
Farzad titles many of his tracks and artworks simply with numbers. This approach invites the audience to experience the musical and visual concepts purely, without the bias or influence of a descriptive title.
