Farzad Golpayegani was born in May 1979 in Tehran/Iran. He is son of late Behzad Golpayegani (Painter & Graphic Designer 1938-1985). Farzad is graduated in graphic and works in the fields of Music and Visual Art.

The style of Farzad's works are Fusion Metal and traits of them are: technical playing of Electric Guitar (7-string), use eastern tunings for Acoustic Guitar, mix Eastern, Persian and Classic music with Metal music, various atmosphere and progressive feel, various tracks on a same album & ...

The first album " ONE " (spring-summer 2002) is an Instrumental Fusion-Metal album. Farzad Golpayegani has composed, played, recorded, mastered the work and even has designed album cover all by himself.

He personally played 7-string Electric guitar, Acoustic guitar and Bass guitar and for the percussion instruments, he has composed the notes by computer programming. This album includes 10 tracks and In the concert some tracks perform with accompany of 2 Iranian instruments " Setar " and " Tombak ".

Name of the tracks are the numbers in song writer's track-list. The reason is the importance of Instrumental music and musical concept against understanding under track name's influence. This album release by " Navaaye Homayoon (Shahram) "Co. (only in Iran)

This album faced many problems and released after 2 years in 2004.

Due to ban rock and metal records in Iran and problems for release Farzad's records abroad, he distributes his albums ("One", "Two" and "Three") on his website as free to download since June 2008.
